What attracted you to join The Elevated Cab team?
I have known Carol Gray for many years through the real estate industry as an alternate service provider to the same target market. She and Jon Whaley have always represented the highest level of professionalism and are well respected not only by their clients, but also by the alternative industry colleagues and peers.

Briefly share an overview of your professional background and how it has prepared you for this role.
Each position held throughout my entire career has included areas of public relations, branding, relationship development, and sales.

What are you most excited about in your new position at The Elevated Cab?
Having retired from an extremely competitive industry in commercial janitorial services, unexpected life changes have now opened this option to step back into the working world with a new type of service catering to a market I happen to be uniquely familiar with. The opportunity to become instrumental in further development and growth with such well-respected owners is very exciting.

What do you hope to achieve in your first few months with the company?
Learning the process specific to development, design, and pricing of the interiors, focusing on where and how to best expand our TEC brand, and having fun while doing it.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?
Country dancing (for fun) is my happy place. I love musicals, theater, and museums. I love karaoke fun, have some artistic interest in interior decorating, and traveling with friends and family is important, especially to the beaches.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most people don't know?
Even though I grew up in Dallas and have lived here my entire life, I was born in Fort Worth, so it's no wonder I love country music and dancing. One additional point of interest to a few, I spent 5 years in the funeral business and believe it or not, it was an amazing job as a ‘pre-need counselor.’ Guiding people to get through highly emotional decisions to balance love/hate and finances is a lot (and I have some stories!).

Do you have any hidden talents or interesting skills?
I can cross one eye at a time – either one.

Tell us about your family or any beloved pets you might have.
I have two incredibly smart and gorgeous adult ‘children,' each sharing two incredible kiddos. My daughter will become a grandmother in November. LOL Whaaaat???? How in the world did THAT happen so soon? Yes, I know what that means, but it just doesn't seem possible. Barely feels like I should be one, much less a great g'ma!!!!!

Share one thing you want to knock off your bucket list.
Travel to Jerusalem – timing isn't great right now, so that one's on the back burner. A Mediterranean cruise is tentatively planned for October 2025!

What's the most unusual or interesting place you've ever been?
I have traveled quite a bit, but recently Las Vegas opened a new entertainment venue called The Sphere. I recently attended an Eagles concert that included Vince Gill. 167,000 surrounding speakers and a fully immersive video experience like nothing ever before. It was incredible, all-encompassing, and heaven for any music lover.
