I was drawn to the team's innovative spirit, their knack for turning everyday rides into immersive experiences, and their commitment to taking interior elevator design to new heights—quite literally!
Briefly share an overview of your professional background & how it has prepared you for this role.
I have over 23 years of administrative support experience in the Service and Construction trades, with a strong focus on business development and client relationship management. My roles have included Account Manager, Customer Care Account Manager, and Director of Business Development, where I have demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering key client relationships. I have a proven track record of developing innovative strategies to drive sustainable business growth and profitability. My experience in managing accounts, conducting sales meetings, and utilizing CRM systems has equipped me with the skills needed to excel in a Director of Business Development role.
What are you most excited about in your new position at The Elevated Cab?
The idea of transforming ordinary elevator spaces into extraordinary works of art truly captivated me.
What do you hope to achieve in your first few months with the company?
In my first few months at this fantastic company, I aim to dive headfirst into the world of elevator design and fabrication, elevating my skills and knowledge to new levels. My goal is to immerse myself in the company culture, absorb as much as I can from the talented team around me, and contribute fresh ideas that will lift our projects to soaring heights. By the end of my initial journey with the company, I hope to have not only mastered the art of elevator design but also added a touch of my own unique flair to the projects we undertake, creating spaces that truly elevate the human experience – one floor at a time!
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
When I'm not busy shaking things up in the business world, you can catch me fostering adorable pets at Austin Pets Alive.
Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most people don't know?
Absolutely! Here's a fun tidbit about me: I have a secret talent for perfectly imitating the sound of a kazoo using only my voice. It's my go-to party trick, and let me tell you, it never fails to bring a smile to people's faces!
Do you have any hidden talents or interesting skills?
Oh, absolutely! Fun fact about me – I have a knack for creating the most delicious baked goods and nurturing beautiful plants in my garden. It's like having my own little slice of paradise right in my backyard! Whether I'm whipping up a batch of cookies or tending to my flowers, I find joy and creativity in every aspect of baking and gardening.
Tell us about your family or any beloved pets you might have.
I have a lively household with two amazing kids, aged 17 and 15, a wonderful boyfriend who lights up my world, and currently, we are a happy family of three adorable little dogs. But wait, the furry family is about to grow even more exciting, with two new puppies joining us soon! It's a full house of love, laughter, and wagging tails – and I wouldn't have it any other way!

When we're not having a blast at home, you can catch us out and about, visiting friends and family, exploring new restaurants, jamming out at concerts, and cheering on our favorite sports teams. It's a whirlwind of good times, great food, and unforgettable experiences – the recipe for a perfect day!
